Lubos Dzuro – your tour guide
I am a registered tourist guide (license number 230) working in the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia Region of Nothern Italy.I feel very fortunate that my job enables me to engage and communicate with people, tourists, and clients from all over the world, and it is this part of my job that I find most fulfilling.
Born in Slovakia, I have been working in the hotel and tourism industry for more than 30 years. I have worked as a tourist guide in my native country, Austria, Hungary and, at present, I accompany visitors in Trieste where I have been living for about ten years.
Trieste is a beautiful city that has been awakened after a long slumber. Interest in its status and economic importance under Austro-Hungarian Imperialism has been rekindled and revived and can be seen in the grandeur of its harbor and urban planning system.
It would be my pleasure to accompany you on leisurely walks around the city, telling you interesting and fascinating stories about its history, culture, architecture as well as the people who have contributed to the development of Trieste over the course of centuries.

In May 2019, I had the privilege in escorting Markus von Habsburg – Lorraine, Archduke of Austria and Prince of Tuscany along with his friends in discovering Trieste.
With friendly tourists at the archeological excavation site of Domus Tito Macro in Aquileia.
Accompanying the Austrian ÖBB Corporation delegation responsible for the re-opening of the historic Vienna–Trieste railway. It was a great privilege to lead them on foot in discovering the harbor city of Trieste.
Two fantastic days spent walking around Trieste with the ‘Dolomiten Zeitung’journalist Burgi Pardatscher.
